Saint-Gobain and The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia – Corporate Distribution Initiative

Childrens-Hospital

On November 30th, 2015, Students Helping Students executed two redistribution efforts that brought 25 whiteboards and one SmartBoard to Bodine International School of Affairs in North Philadelphia.

As part of the Saint-Gobain, Corporate Distribution Initiative effort, SHS redistributed 25 whiteboards, which had been designated surplus goods during Saint-Gobain’s relocation period, to Bodine. Saint-Gobain is the world’s largest building materials company.

In addition, SHS also partnered with CHOP (The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia), to redistribute a SmartBoard that the hospital no longer needed to Bodine. The Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) is the nation’s first hospital devoted exclusively to the care of children. Since its start in 1855, CHOP has been the birthplace for many dramatic firsts in pediatric medicine.
